Eric Woods  president and principal programmer

Eric WoodsEric is Sunnywood's senior project manager and programmer. He has a penchant for organizing people and code that dates back to his childhood. Professionally he has been working on web projects and interactive media since the dawn of these technologies. His interest in environment and skills with computers turned into a career when he joined the Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology, an educational non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., where he eventually became the Director of Software Development. In 2000, Eric and his wife, Liz, formed Sunnywood Designs and located it in Ithaca, New York. Eric received a B.A. in Physics from Reed College and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he learned to love ultimate frisbee and bicycle commuting.

Elizabeth Woods  cfo and principal designer

Elizabeth WoodsLiz is Sunnywood's principal designer and chief financial officer. She also handles project management and site production as needed. She is passionate about clean design and standards-compliant CSS. Prior to her work with Sunnywood Designs, Liz was a mechanical design engineer with Walt Disney Imagineering, working in research and development on projects such as the Clock of the Long Now. She has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with minor in Studio Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. When she's not working with Sunnywood's clients, Liz can be found spending time with her two preschool-age children, gardening, knitting, sewing, or painting.

Jeff Amaral  programming

Jeff lends his skill in PHP and JavaScript programming to Sunnywood's team with speed and precision.

Noah Demarest management and design

Noah DemarestNoah has served as a board member for Sunnywood Designs since January 2005. He is a LEED accredited architect, a member of the United States Green Building Council, and an associate member of the American Institute of Architects. Before joining Sunnywood, Noah was the CEO and co-founder of Deviron, LLC. He has degrees from Cornell University (Master of Landscape Architecture; B.S., Design and Environmental Analysis).
